Giving Back to the Community

At the heart of Intuit is the belief that with our success comes the need to share and give back to the communities in which we thrive. That’s why we actively support our We Care & Give Back initiative with ongoing programmes and services to improve the communities in which we live.

Employee Giving and Volunteering

Intuit UK matches employee donations, offers employees paid time off to volunteer – and even makes employee–nominated grants. Here are some recent community programmes and activities our employees supported:

Wear It Pink Day - October 2009

On national wear it pink day for breast cancer, Intuit UK employees donated £2 and wore pink to work to raise money and awareness for the breast cancer charity, we also had a bake sale to raise even more money.

Coming up in 2010…

This December Intuit employees will again take part in Operation Christmas Child. Last year through Operation Christmas Child, over 1.2 million shoeboxes packed full of gifts and goodies were wrapped, packed and sent to children in disadvantaged situations by children and adults in the UK.
