Returns and cancellations

QuickBooks Desktop software is guaranteed easy or your money back. If within 60 days you’re not convinced it's an easy way to manage your business finances, we’ll give you your money back:

• If you bought the software from us (on our website or over the phone), request your refund online here.
• If you bought the software from Amazon, Staples or PC World, request your refund online here.

Alternatively, drop the software to us in the post. Make sure you also include a dated proof of purchase, your name, address, phone number, reason for returning and whether you want an exchange or full refund. Send everything to:

If you're using QuickBooks Online, you can cancel your subscription from within the software:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as normal
2. Click My Account (towards the top right of the window)
3. Click Cancel Your Subscription (near the right side of the screen)
4. Follow the instructions on-screen to cancel your subscription

If you cancel within your trial period, you won't be charged a penny. If you're a paying subscriber, we'll give you a pro-rata refund to cover the rest of the month that you paid for up front.
