Why financial fitness matters

According to Office of National Statistics figures, one in three businesses don't make it past their third birthday. With poor financial management a key factor in business failures, getting to grips with the numbers is vital.

When you're financially fit, you're better at:

• Keeping the right financial records
• Staying on top of your cash flow
• Getting customers to pay on time
• Handling VAT and other taxes
