QuickBooks Remote Access works by creating a connection between your computer and your client's computer running QuickBooks. Once you've logged in, you can access their QuickBooks files as if you were on their premises.
To keep this protected, we protect the connection using encryption technology. You also have to log in with a username, password and access code (unique to each computer). You should keep these to yourself, obviously.
